Day 1: Chengdu – Panda Paradise or Dujiangyan – Songzhou Ancient City – Jiuzhaigou

Morning: Private Door-to-Door Pickup
A dedicated driver will pick you up from your hotel within Chengdu's 3rd Ring Road (exact time confirmed between 18:00–22:30 the day before). You'll be transferred to the main tour departure point.

Choose Your Adventure (A or B):

Option A – Panda Paradise (approx. 1 hour): Visit the Dujiangyan Panda Base, home to giant pandas in a beautiful natural setting. See them play, eat bamboo, and relax. (Electric cart optional, ¥30 recommended.)

Option B – Dujiangyan Irrigation System (approx. 2.5 hours): Explore the 2,000-year-old Dujiangyan irrigation project, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Marvel at the ancient engineering that still protects the Chengdu Plain from floods. (Sightseeing cart + audio guide optional, ¥30 recommended.)

Midday: Waterfront Panda Banquet
Enjoy a delicious local lunch featuring panda-themed dishes at a scenic restaurant.

Afternoon: Scenic Drive to Jiuzhaigou
We continue our journey through the Minjiang River Valley, with stops at:

Diexi Lake – a beautiful alpine lake formed by an earthquake.

Songzhou Ancient City – stroll the ancient streets and admire the city walls (optional wall climb ¥15).

Evening: Arrival in Jiuzhaigou
Check into your hotel and enjoy a complimentary dinner (included in your hotel package). Rest well for tomorrow's fairy-tale exploration.

Day 2: Full Day in Jiuzhaigou – Fairy Tale Wonderland

Photography Focus: Turquoise lakes, terraced waterfalls, Tibetan costume photoshoot, afternoon tea.

Morning: Enter the Park (approx. 8 hours)
After breakfast at the hotel, we head to the Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic Area (entrance fee included). You'll board the eco-bus (sightseeing bus fare not included, ¥80–90 depending on season) and explore at your own pace following the Y-shaped valley.

Recommended route:

Rize Valley: Primeval Forest, Arrow Bamboo Lake, Panda Lake, Five-Flower Lake, Pearl Shoal (famous from Journey to the West).

Zechawa Valley: Long Lake, Five-Color Pond (the highest point).

Shuzheng Valley: Nuorilang Falls, Tiger Lake, Tree-Zheng Waterfall, Sparkling Lake, Reed Lake.

Special Inclusions Inside the Park:

Fairy-tale Photoshoot: At a designated scenic spot, you'll have a professional photo session. Choose a traditional Tibetan or Han costume, use fun props, and receive 3 edited digital photos + all raw images.

Afternoon Tea: Take a break with a cup of milk tea and a sweet dessert, surrounded by breathtaking nature.

Evening: Gama Manor Tibetan Banquet

After breakfast, we depart for Huanglong Scenic Area (entrance fee included). En route, we'll stop at a high-altitude service station where staff will explain altitude sickness prevention (optional oxygen and medicine available for purchase).

Explore "The Yellow Dragon" (approx. 4 hours)
Huanglong is famous for its golden calcite pools, snow mountains, and primeval forests. To save energy, we recommend taking the cable car (up ¥80, down ¥40 – optional) to the top, then walking down through the main sights:

Five-Color Pond – the most stunning pool at the highest point.

Mugi Valley, Bonsai Pools, Zhengyan Pools – cascading terraces of turquoise water.

Yellow Dragon Temple – a historic temple at the heart of the area.

(Eco-shuttle ¥20 and audio guide ¥30 are also available.)

Midday: Haoting Family Feast
After descending, enjoy a hearty local lunch before beginning the drive back to Chengdu.

Afternoon/Evening: Return to Chengdu
We travel via the Dujiangyan area and arrive at Jinke North Road (or nearby) around 21:30. From there, you can easily connect to your hotel or onward travel. (Optional upgrade: return by high-speed train from Songpan or Huanglongjiuzhai station – must be booked in advance.)

Important Information for International Travelers

Altitude and Health: Jiuzhaigou sits at 2000–3100m, Huanglong up to 3500m. Most people do not experience severe altitude sickness, but please take it easy, drink water, and avoid alcohol. Inform your guide immediately if you feel unwell. This tour is not suitable for pregnant women, children under 7, seniors over 70, or anyone with heart or lung conditions.

Packing Essentials: Warm layers (even in summer, mornings are cool), comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, lip balm, personal medication, and a power bank.

Dietary Restrictions: Meals are typically Chinese-style with local flavors. If you have specific dietary needs (vegetarian, allergies, etc.), please inform us at booking.

Scenic Area Rules: No smoking inside Jiuzhaigou (fines apply). Stay on designated boardwalks – do not touch the water or enter restricted areas.

Language: Your guide speaks English and will assist with translations, tickets, and cultural explanations.

Booking and Payment: A deposit is required at booking. Full payment due 7 days before departure. Cancellation policy applies.

Visa and Flights: You are responsible for obtaining your China visa and arranging flights to and from Chengdu. We can provide invitation letters if needed.
