Day 1: Arrival in Chengdu – The Land of Abundance

Welcome to Chengdu! Upon arrival at the airport or train station, your driver will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in the city center. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore the nearby streets. Your photographer guide will contact you in the evening to brief you on the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Chengdu – Siguniangshan (Four Girls Mountain) – Danba

Depart Chengdu at 9:00 AM and head towards the majestic Siguniangshan (Four Girls Mountain). After a lunch stop, we enter Shuangqiaogou Valley, the most scenic and easily accessible of the three valleys. Here you'll be surrounded by snow peaks, meadows dotted with ancient sea-buckthorn trees, and the surreal, multicolored Wuse Mountain—a photographer's paradise. Late afternoon we drive to Danba, known for its beautiful Tibetan villages.

Day 3: Danba – Jiaju Tibetan Village – Yala Snow Mountain Viewpoint – Moshì Park – Tagong Grassland – Yuzixi – Xinduqiao

Morning: Valley of Beautiful Women (9:30 AM)
Visit Jiaju Zangzhai, a picturesque Tibetan village known as the "Valley of Beautiful Women." Wander among white-walled, stone-roofed houses terraced into the mountainside, surrounded by lush greenery.

Midday: Yala Snow Mountain Viewpoint
Stop for panoramic views of the sacred Yala Snow Mountain, its peak often shrouded in clouds.

Afternoon: Moshì Park (2:00 PM)
Explore Moshì Park, a geological wonderland of dark, weathered rocks that look like another planet. Wear bright colors (red, yellow) for stunning contrast photos. Keep an eye out for playful marmots!

Tagong Grassland (4:00 PM)
Walk across the vast Tagong Grassland, where prayer flags flutter in the wind and yaks graze against a backdrop of distant snow mountains.

Evening: Sunset at Yuzixi (5:00 PM)
Head to Yuzixi, one of West Sichuan's most famous viewpoints. As the sun begins to set, the mountains are painted in shades of gold and pink—a truly magical moment for your photographer to capture.

Night: Arrival in Xinduqiao (7:30 PM)
Transfer to Xinduqiao, a town famous for its idyllic Tibetan villages and golden light, and check into your hotel.

Day 4: Xinduqiao – Airport Road – Honghaizi – Mugecuo – Chengdu

Morning:网红 Airport Road (10:00 AM)

Honghaizi (11:00 AM)
Visit Honghaizi (Red Lake), a high-altitude lake nestled among mountains. On calm days, it offers mirror-like reflections of the surrounding peaks.

Midday: Mugecuo Scenic Area (1:00 PM)
Spend the afternoon exploring Mugecuo, a vast scenic area encompassing alpine lakes, primeval forests, hot springs, and grasslands. Take a light hike, breathe the fresh mountain air, and let your photographer capture the diverse landscapes.

Evening: Return to Chengdu (5:00 PM)
Begin the journey back to Chengdu, arriving in the evening. Check into your hotel and rest after your high-altitude adventure.

Day 5: Free Day in Chengdu – Explore at Your Own Pace

Today is yours to explore Chengdu as you wish. Your photographer guide is not included today, giving you the freedom to create your own adventure. Here are some recommendations:

Important Information for International Travelers

Altitude & Health: This route reaches altitudes above 4000m. Please consult your doctor before booking. Not suitable for children under 7, seniors over 70, or those with heart/lung conditions. We provide detailed altitude tips upon booking.

Physical Requirements: Moderate walking on uneven terrain. Comfortable walking shoes are essential.

Weather & Flexibility: Your guide may adjust the itinerary due to weather or road conditions to ensure your safety and enjoyment.

Packing Essentials: Warm layers (down jacket, hat, gloves), sun protection, lip balm, personal medication, and a good pair of walking shoes.

Marmots: These cute creatures are wild—please do not feed or chase them.

Yuzixi Sunset: The sunset experience depends on weather conditions. If clouds obscure the view, your guide will adjust accordingly.

Free Day in Chengdu: Your photographer guide is not included on Day 5, but we're happy to provide recommendations and assistance via our 24-hour hotline.

Visa & Flights: You are responsible for obtaining your China visa and arranging flights to/from Chengdu.
